CURRENT EVENTS:

Washington University Law School recently captured its Third Consecutive National Championship winning the 26th Annual William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition.  John Kershman, adjunct professor of law at Washington University and a coach of the National Appellate Advocacy team, completed his fourth campaign as coach of the civil rights team winning the national civil rights championship in 2009, 2010 and 2011.  This year's competition problem was based on "DOMA" (the Defense of Marriage Act).
